Did you know the whole of the unripe jackfruit can be cooked and eaten? Not just the fruit pods and seeds, everything inside(except the hard seed cover) adapts well to most recipes, in texture and taste. The central segment for example is very adaptable and has a texture exactly identical to meat. Why, when the whole world is looking at meat alternatives, and when Goa has so many fantastic recipes for meat- are we not poutting it together?
